In Science, we have been looking at living things and habitats. In teams, we created our own carroll and venn diagrams focusing on vertebrates and invertebrates and grouping them based on their shared characteristics. We also researched different forms of habitats and how humans and nature can impact these.
Year 4 visited Washington Wetlands this week. During this visit, we followed a trail, left by Ava the osprey that led us around the centre. We took part in a variety of different activities based around nature, such as a minibeast hunt and building a nest for birds that call the centre home. We watched the otters and flamingos being fed and found out lots about the local area.
