Stranger Danger!
We were very lucky this week in Year 1! We were visited by PCSO Rebecca Brownson, who delivered a talk to us about the importance of staying safe, especially around strangers. We now know to Run, Yell and Tell if a stranger approaches us. Thank you PCSO Brownson!
Literacy
Something strange happened in Year 1 this week… Our toys came to life! We searched our classroom to see if we could find any of our toys in strange places, and then we wrote a list of the toys we found!
PE
What a fantastic PE lesson we had on Tuesday with our wonderful coach! Our focus this half term is dance, so we created our own bonfire night themed dance! We chopped the wood for the bonfire, and became fireworks! We even danced our way to the Houses of Parliament whilst learning all about Guy Fawkes! Well done Year 1!
