Derwent Hill 2023

Friday 9th June 2023

Before our trip back home both teams went for walks. One team went to Whinlatter which is part of the forestry commission. The second team went to High Rigg which used to be a volcano.

Thursday 8th June 2023

Teamwork, resilience, determination, these are all the things we have demonstrated today. We challenged ourselves on the high swingand enjoyed the wonderful adventures of nature, whilst gorge walking. Some of us were even brave enough to jump off a waterall! Well done to everyone, we are all very proud of you.

Wednesday 7th June 2023

We have arrived safely at Derwent Hill and after a quick change, we immediately hit the water!

We cannoed our way across the lake and enjoyed cooling off in Derwentwater.

The children have also played on the ropes area to relax a little.
