Angela's Ark Visit
What an exciting start to the week we had in Year 2!
Angela came to Valley Road with lots of animals from around the world. Some of the animals she brought included a bearded dragon, a gecko, 2 snakes, rabbits and lots more. We were able to hold and stroke most of them however the tarantula had to stay in his cage as he was a bit grumpy!
Science Day
This week we read the story, Meerkat Mail by Emily Gravett. Sunny lives in the Kalahari Desert and thinks it’s too hot! We took some of Sunny’s friends for a visit around Valley Road, we showed them our wonderful, enchanted garden, our creative displays and we even let them try some of our scrumptious, mouth-watering dinners!
