Safeguarding

The Trustees have agreed that Safeguarding First will provide all aspects of safeguarding  training across our two academies.  Both schools had a long standing relationship with  Pam Gartland, prior to conversion,  and have benefited from her immense experience and expertise in the past. Safeguarding First will be the sole provider of training and support. Each Head of School , with their LAC  ensure compliance and ensure safeguarding is effective.All academies within ILT  will have a Safeguarding Action Plan.  Progress through each Action Plan is monitored by the Heads of Schools and  overseen by  Executive headteacher 

Each Academy has an annually reviewed Child Protection Policy available on their website.

Trustees ensure that each LAC  reflects all expectations in Keeping Children Safe in Education (current year) in their operation of their Academy.

The Trust has appointed Neil Macdonald Clyde as a Trustee with special responsibility for monitoring Safeguarding.
